According to the Guangdong Health Care Commission, from 0-24 hours on October 7, there were 39 new local confirmed cases in Guangdong Province (15 cases in Guangzhou, 3 cases in Shenzhen, 9 cases in Shaoguan, 4 cases in Huizhou, 2 cases in Zhongshan, 2 cases in Jiangmen, 3 cases in Zhanjiang, 1 case in Yunfu); 27 new local asymptomatic infections (12 cases in Guangzhou, 1 case in Shenzhen, 6 cases in Huizhou, 4 cases in Shanwei, 1 case in Zhongshan, 2 cases in Jieyang, 1 case in Yunfu); and 8 cases There are 8 cases of local asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (2 cases in Guangzhou, 1 case in Shantou, 1 case in Shaoguan, 3 cases in Huizhou and 1 case in Jiangmen). The province has 7 new confirmed cases of imported foreign cases (2 cases in Guangzhou, 5 cases in Shenzhen); 28 new cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections (4 cases in Guangzhou, 2 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Zhuhai, 3 cases in Foshan, 17 cases in Dongguan, 1 case in Zhaoqing); 3 other cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (3 cases in Guangzhou).

There are 17 new cases discharged from the province (12 cases imported from abroad), 481 cases are currently in the hospital (179 cases imported from abroad); 17 new cases of asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation (17 cases imported from abroad), 308 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (134 cases imported from abroad).

As of 24:00 on October 7, the province reported a total of 20,928 positive cases of new pneumonia (13,132 cases imported from abroad), including 10,410 confirmed cases (5,478 cases imported from abroad) and 10,518 asymptomatic cases (7,654 cases imported from abroad).
