From 0 to 24 hours on September 15, there were 5 new local confirmed cases in Guangdong Province (3 cases in Shenzhen and 2 cases in Maoming); 1 new local asymptomatic case (1 case in Dongguan). There were 9 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (4 cases in Guangzhou, 5 cases in Shenzhen); 20 new asymptomatic cases imported from abroad (11 cases in Guangzhou, 2 cases in Shenzhen, 2 cases in Zhuhai, 2 cases in Huizhou, 2 cases in Dongguan, 1 case in Jiangmen); and 1 case of asymptomatic case imported from abroad to a confirmed case (1 case in Guangzhou).
In Guangdong Province, 60 new cases were discharged (11 cases imported from abroad) and 536 cases are currently in hospital (165 cases imported from abroad); 34 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation (11 cases imported from abroad) and 365 cases of asymptomatic infected persons are still under medical observation (179 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on September 15, Guangdong Province has reported 19,734 positive cases of new pneumonia (12,444 cases imported from abroad), including 9,744 confirmed cases (5,136 cases imported from abroad) and 9,990 asymptomatic cases (7,308 cases imported from abroad).
