The latest situation of the province’s new crown pneumonia epidemic from 0-24 September 15 is as follows.
43 new local confirmed cases: 2 cases of closed-loop transporters returning to Sichuan from other provinces, 7 cases in Chengdu, 11 cases in Neijiang, 5 cases in Yibin, and 18 cases from previous asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (4 cases of closed-loop transporters returning to Sichuan from other provinces, 6 cases in Chengdu, 3 cases in Neijiang, 3 cases in Yibin, 1 case in Luzhou, 1 case in Aba).
There were 132 new cases of local asymptomatic infections: 4 cases of foreigners returning to Sichuan in closed-loop transit, 7 cases in Chengdu, 91 cases in Neijiang, 21 cases in Yibin, 8 cases in Dazhou, and 1 case in Aba.
Three new confirmed cases were imported from abroad (in Chengdu, one of which was a confirmed case from a previous asymptomatic infected person).
7 new cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infections (in Chengdu).
221 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital, no new suspected cases and no new deaths.
