From 0 to 24 hours on December 6, there were 1,286 new local confirmed cases in the province (902 in Guangzhou, 115 in Shenzhen, 17 in Zhuhai, 6 in Shantou, 26 in Foshan, 11 in Shaoguan, 5 in Heyuan, 13 in Huizhou, 29 in Jiangmen, 25 in Yangjiang, 47 in Zhanjiang, 21 in Maoming, 8 in Zhaoqing, 22 in Qingyuan, 27 in Chaozhou, 12 in Yunfu); 3,200 new local asymptomatic 3200 cases (2090 in Guangzhou, 68 in Shenzhen, 66 in Zhuhai, 61 in Shantou, 70 in Foshan, 40 in Shaoguan, 36 in Heyuan, 69 in Meizhou, 51 in Huizhou, 54 in Shanwei, 122 in Dongguan, 109 in Zhongshan, 24 in Jiangmen, 15 in Yangjiang, 9 in Zhanjiang, 49 in Maoming, 51 in Zhaoqing, 91 in Qingyuan, 105 in Jieyang, 20 in Yunfu); and 433 (20 cases); another 433 cases of local asymptomatic infected people to confirmed cases (331 cases in Guangzhou, 1 case in Shenzhen, 2 cases in Zhuhai, 1 case in Shantou, 2 cases in Shaoguan, 13 cases in Dongguan, 67 cases in Zhongshan, 4 cases in Maoming, 12 cases in Chaozhou). The province has 15 new confirmed cases of overseas importation (Guangzhou 5, Shenzhen 2, Foshan 4, Dongguan 3, Jiangmen 1); 11 new cases of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections (Guangzhou 3, Shenzhen 1, Foshan 4, Dongguan 2, Jiangmen 1); and 3 cases of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (Dongguan 2, Zhongshan 1).

The province has discharged 1377 new cases (22 cases imported from abroad), and currently 14,564 cases are in hospital (163 cases imported from abroad); 9,470 new cases of asymptomatic infections have been released from medical observation (30 cases imported from abroad), and 68,304 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (200 cases imported from abroad).

As of 24:00 on December 6, the province has reported 226,377 cases of new positive pneumonia infections (15,423 imported from abroad), including 48,187 confirmed cases (6,470 imported from abroad) and 178,190 asymptomatic infections (8,953 imported from abroad).
