Jieyang added 98 new cases of native asymptomatic infections on Dec. 8
According to the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission, 98 new cases of indigenous asymptomatic infections were reported in Jieyang on December 8. The province’s new crown pneumonia epidemic situation is reported as follows.
December 8, 0-24 hours, the province’s new local confirmed cases of 1256 cases (854 cases in Guangzhou, 67 cases in Shenzhen, 31 cases in Zhuhai, 12 cases in Shantou, 23 cases in Foshan, 27 cases in Shaoguan, 5 cases in Heyuan, 4 cases in Meizhou, 29 cases in Huizhou, 1 case in Shanwei, 12 cases in Zhongshan, 21 cases in Jiangmen, 45 cases in Yangjiang, 38 cases in Zhanjiang, 16 cases in Maoming, 17 cases in Qingyuan 17 cases, Chaozhou 37 cases, Yunfu 17 cases); new local asymptomatic infections 1989 cases (Guangzhou 1005 cases, Shenzhen 72 cases, Zhuhai 61 cases, Shantou 85 cases, Foshan 71 cases, Shaoguan 63 cases, Heyuan 31 cases, Meizhou 34 cases, Huizhou 34 cases, Shanwei 87 cases, Dongguan 93 cases, Zhongshan 6 cases, Jiangmen 12 cases, Yangjiang 22 cases, Zhanjiang 23 cases, Maoming 56 cases, Zhaoqing 60 cases, Qingyuan 61 cases, Jieyang 98 cases, Yunfu 15 cases); another 135 cases of local asymptomatic infected people to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 114 cases, Zhongshan 14 cases, Zhanjiang 2 cases, Maoming 5 cases). There were 12 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (11 cases in Guangzhou, 1 case in Shenzhen); 15 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (8 cases in Guangzhou, 1 case in Shenzhen, 6 cases in Foshan).
The province discharged 1,627 new cases (26 cases imported from abroad), currently 14,336 cases in hospital (136 cases imported from abroad); 8,372 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons released from medical observation (30 cases imported from abroad), 57,179 cases of asymptomatic infected persons still under medical observation (169 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on December 8, the province has reported 233,648 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (15,485 cases imported from abroad), including 51,041 confirmed cases (6,496 cases imported from abroad) and 182,607 asymptomatic cases (8,989 cases imported from abroad).
