On December 8, from 0-24 hours, there were 61 new positive infections in Zhanjiang (including 13 cases imported from outside the associated city), including 38 confirmed cases and 23 asymptomatic infections.
Case discovery methods include 11 cases found in centralized isolation, 19 cases found in home isolation medical observation, 3 cases found in high-risk area screening, 13 cases found in closed-loop management key personnel screening, 5 cases found in close contact screening, 5 cases found in active testing (including 3 cases of people returning to Zhan from outside the city), 4 cases found in active consultation, and 1 case found in cross-regional coordination. At the same time, two previously announced cases of asymptomatic infection were converted to confirmed cases. All of the above patients have been transferred to the designated treatment hospital for isolation and treatment in the first closed loop.
