There are 435 confirmed cases imported from abroad (no serious cases) and 2 suspected cases. The total number of confirmed cases is 29,153, and the total number of cured and discharged cases is 28,718, with no fatal cases.

As of 24:00 on December 28, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 55,001 confirmed cases (including 1,611 severe cases), 357,097 cumulative cured and discharged cases, 5,246 cumulative deaths, 417,615 cumulative reported confirmed cases, and 51 existing suspected cases.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases received from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is 9274764 cases. Among them, 506348 cases in Hong Kong SAR (110571 discharges, 11621 deaths), 2144 cases in Macao SAR (1883 discharges, 32 deaths), and 8766272 cases in Taiwan (13742 discharges, 15145 deaths).
