Beijing added 18 new local confirmed cases on October 24

From 00:00 to 24:00 on October 24, there were 18 new local confirmed cases (all notified), 16 cases of isolation and observation, 2 cases of social surface screening, and no new suspected cases or asymptomatic infected persons; 1 new overseas imported confirmed case and 5 asymptomatic infected persons, and no new suspected cases. There were 19 cases discharged from hospital and 2 asymptomatic infected persons released from medical observation.

Local cases

Confirmed cases 1, 2 and 3: they are isolated and under observation, and were diagnosed as confirmed cases on October 24.

Confirmed case 4: now living in Baiyunguan Street Nanli District, Xicheng District, as an isolated observer, diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 24.

Confirmed cases 5 to 10: Currently lives in Baiyangjing Garden A, Chaoyang District, and is under isolation and observation, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 24.

Confirmed case 11: Currently lives in Begonia Commune, Chaoyang District, and is under isolation and observation, diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 24.

Confirmed case 12: now lives in Bai Zi Wan Home Area C, Chaoyang District, and is under isolation and observation, diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 24.

Confirmed cases 13 and 14: Currently lives in Baiyangjing Yuan C, Chaoyang District, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 24.

Confirmed case 15: Currently lives in Chaofeng Home No. 8, Chaoyang District, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 24.

Confirmed case 16: Currently lives in Wangsiying Village, Chaoyang District, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 24.

Confirmed case 17: Currently lives in No. 2 courtyard of Gomez First City in Chaoyang District, a social screening worker, diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 24.

Confirmed case 18: currently lives in Yilan District 2, Tongzhou District, a social screening worker, diagnosed as a confirmed case on October 24.

Confirmed case imported from abroad: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Hong Kong, China on October 16, sent to centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, diagnosed as confirmed case on October 24.

All the above cases have been transferred to designated hospitals, epidemiological investigations have been conducted and control measures have been implemented as required.
