There were no new local cases in Beijing for 5 consecutive days and no new cases in Beijing on September 20.

There were 7 new confirmed cases and 10 asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, and no new suspected cases. Seven cases were cured and discharged from the hospital, and 10 asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation.

Confirmed cases imported from abroad

Confirmed case 1: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Germany on September 18, sent to centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, diagnosed as confirmed case on September 20.

Confirmed case 2: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from France via Germany on September 18, was sent to the centralized isolation hotel via closed-loop management, and was diagnosed as a confirmed case on September 20.

Confirmed cases 3 and 4: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from UAE on September 9, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and diagnosed as confirmed cases on September 20.

Confirmed case 5: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from France on September 10, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and diagnosed as a confirmed case on September 20.

Confirmed case 6: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from the United Arab Emirates on September 16, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and diagnosed as a confirmed case on September 20.

Confirmed case 7: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from South Korea on September 19, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and diagnosed as confirmed case on September 20.

All the above cases have been transferred to designated hospitals, epidemiological investigations have been conducted and control measures have been implemented as required.
