From 00:00 to 24:00 on September 16, there were no new local confirmed cases, suspected cases and asymptomatic infected persons in Beijing; there were 7 new confirmed cases (including 1 case of asymptomatic infected person to confirmed case) and 7 asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad, and no new suspected cases. Three cases were cured and discharged from hospital, and two cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation.

Confirmed cases imported from abroad

Confirmed case 1: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from France on September 15, sent to centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, diagnosed as confirmed case on September 16.

Confirmed case 2: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Hong Kong, China on September 15, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and diagnosed as confirmed case on September 16.

Confirmed case 3: Chinese Taiwanese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport on September 14 from Taiwan, China, and was sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management.

Confirmed case 4: Taiwanese Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Taiwan, China on September 13, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and diagnosed as a confirmed case on September 16.

Confirmed case 5: Israeli national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Germany on September 14, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and diagnosed as a confirmed case on September 16.

Confirmed case 6: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Turkey on September 14, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and diagnosed as a confirmed case on September 16.

Confirmed case 7: Chinese national from Taiwan, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Taiwan on September 13, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, diagnosed as asymptomatic on September 14, and diagnosed as confirmed on September 16.

All the above cases have been transferred to designated hospitals, epidemiological investigations have been conducted and control measures have been implemented as required.
