Today (Dec. 27), Prime Minister Fumio Kishida told the media that Japan will strengthen entry prevention measures from Dec. 30. All persons traveling to Japan from mainland China and those who have visited mainland China within seven days will be required to be tested for New Coronavirus upon arrival.
In principle, those who test positive for New Guinea virus will be quarantined for seven days. In addition, plans to increase flights to and from China from Japan will be restricted.
