From 0 to 24 hours on November 16, there were 4 new local confirmed cases in the province (2 cases in Wuhan, of which 1 case was a closed-loop control person from other provinces to E; 1 case in Xiangyang, 1 case in Enshizhou), 109 new local asymptomatic infections (75 cases in Wuhan, of which 35 cases were detected at isolation points, 33 cases were detected at key population screening, 1 case was detected at home isolation; 8 cases in Jingzhou, of which 4 cases were detected at isolation (8 cases in Jingzhou, of which 4 cases were detected at isolation points, 1 case was detected at home isolation, 3 cases were detected at landing; 8 cases in Huanggang, of which 6 cases were detected at isolation points; 5 cases in Enshizhou, of which 3 cases were detected at isolation points, 1 case was detected at home isolation, 1 case was detected at screening of key people; 3 cases in Xianning, 2 cases in Suizhou, 1 case in Ezhou, all detected at isolation points; 2 cases in Huangshi, 2 cases in Xiaogan, 2 cases in Tianmen, 1 case in Xiangyang, all 2 cases in Huangshi, 2 cases in Xiaogan, 2 cases in Tianmen and 1 case in Xiangyang, all of them were detected at isolation sites; 2 cases in Huangshi, 2 cases in Xiaogan, 1 case in Xiangyang, all of them were imported from other provinces), 2 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (1 case each in Pakistan and Indonesia), 1 new asymptomatic case imported from abroad (imported from Pakistan), 0 new suspected cases, 0 new fatal cases, 2 cases discharged on the same day (all of them were confirmed cases in Wuhan), 77 cases released from medical observation of asymptomatic infected persons on the same day (42 cases in Wuhan, 10 cases in Yichang, 10 cases in Huanggang). As of 24:00 on November 16, there were 16 confirmed local cases treated in designated medical institutions (14 cases in Wuhan, of which 13 were light and 1 was common; 1 case in Xiangyang and 1 case in Enshizhou, both were light) and 0 suspected cases. There are still 1159 cases of local asymptomatic infected persons under centralized isolation for medical observation (509 cases in Wuhan, 170 cases in Huanggang, 100 cases in Suizhou, 70 cases in Xiangyang, 67 cases in Yichang, 52 cases in Tianmen, 44 cases in Xianning, 37 cases in Jingzhou, 28 cases in Enshi, 24 cases in Xiaogan, 20 cases in Huangshi, 10 cases in Shiyan, 10 cases in Ezhou, 8 cases in Jingmen, 8 cases in Xiantao (2 cases in Qianjiang City).

There were 2 confirmed cases imported from abroad (1 case from Pakistan and 1 case from Indonesia, both of them were light) treated in designated medical institutions; 18 cases of asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad were still under centralized isolation for medical observation.

The province has discharged a total of 63,930 cases, with a total of 4,512 deaths, and a total of 68,460 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia reported. There are 29,806 close contacts who are still under intensive isolation for medical observation.
