Four new local confirmed cases and six asymptomatic cases in Chengdu on October 12

The Chengdu Health Care Commission informed that from 0-24 hours on October 12, there were 4 new local confirmed cases and 6 new local asymptomatic infections in Chengdu. There were no new confirmed cases imported from abroad and 4 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad. There were 3 cases of asymptomatic infected persons who were previously reported to be confirmed (2 local cases and 1 overseas case).

Four new local confirmed cases

Confirmed case 1: residing in Phase 4 of Baiyue City, Longquanyi District, found by voluntary inspection.

Confirmed cases 2-4: all live in Longqiao District, Shuangliu District, returned to Rongbao from overseas on October 11, and were found by screening of key personnel.

6 new cases of local asymptomatic infections

Asymptomatic infections 1-3: all live in Longqiao District, Shuangliu District, and returned from overseas on October 11.

Asymptomatic infected person 4: came to Rong from outside the province on October 11, and was found by the “screening upon entry into Sichuan”.

Asymptomatic infected person 5-6: came from outside the province on October 9 and was found through close contact screening in isolation control.

At present, there are 7 high-risk areas, 5 medium-risk areas and 5 low-risk areas in Chengdu.
