Four new local confirmed cases in Shaanxi, all in Xi'an

According to the Shaanxi Provincial Health and Wellness Commission, from 0-24 hours on September 15, four new confirmed cases of indigenous infection were reported in Shaanxi, all in Xi’an (one of which was an asymptomatic infected person referred for confirmation); one asymptomatic infected person (Shangluo). Four cases were discharged from hospital and 12 cases were released from isolation for medical observation.

As of 24:00 on September 15, there were 47 cases of confirmed local cases in isolation and 185 cases of asymptomatic infected persons under isolated medical observation.

Local confirmed case 1: female, 25 years old, reported in Xi’an, is a local asymptomatic infected person released on September 14.13 Symptoms appeared during isolation medical observation and was revised as a confirmed case of New Guan Pneumonia (mild).

Native confirmed case 2: Male, 29 years old, reported from Xi’an city, a close contact of native asymptomatic infected person 14 released on September 14. Positive nucleic acid test results during isolation were diagnosed by a municipal expert panel as a confirmed case (mild) of neocrown pneumonia.

Native confirmed case 3: Female, 27 years old, reported in Xi’an as a close contact of native asymptomatic infected person 14 released on September 14. Positive nucleic acid test results during isolation were diagnosed by a municipal expert panel as a confirmed case (mild) of neocrown pneumonia.

Native confirmed case 4: Female, 1 year old, reported in Xi’an as a close contact of native asymptomatic infected person 14 released on September 14. Positive nucleic acid test results during isolation were diagnosed by a municipal expert panel as a confirmed case (mild) of neocrown pneumonia.

Native asymptomatic infected person: female, 53 years old, reported by Shangluo City. Positive nucleic acid test result during isolation, diagnosed by municipal expert group as an asymptomatic infected person with New Crown pneumonia.

The above confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected persons are in quarantine treatment and isolated medical observation in designated medical institutions, with specific activity trajectories, epidemic prevention and control work released by Xi’an City and Shangluo City respectively.
