Zhejiang yesterday, 27 new cases of indigenous positive

On October 19, 0-24 hours, 11 cities in Zhejiang reported 27 new positive cases, including 25 cases detected at centralized isolation sites, 1 case intercepted at chokepoints, and 1 case screened in the community, all of which have implemented control measures.

Eleven cities reported 8 new confirmed cases. Among them, there were no imported cases; 8 local cases (6 cases in Ningbo, 2 cases in Taizhou), of which 2 cases were previously asymptomatic infected persons turned to confirmed (Taizhou), and 6 new confirmed cases were detected on the same day.

One new case was discharged from the hospital on the same day, and there were 103 confirmed cases.

Eleven cities reported 35 new cases of asymptomatic infections. There were 3 cases of asymptomatic infected persons who were released from medical observation on that day, and 290 cases of asymptomatic infected persons who were still under medical observation.

As of 24:00 on October 19, the province reported a total of 3535 confirmed cases. Among them, 693 cases were imported from abroad and 2842 cases were local cases.
