Fujian Province has 122 new indigenous confirmed cases and 356 new indigenous asymptomatic infections

I. Overseas imported epidemic

From 0 to 24:00 on December 5, Fujian Province reported 8 new cases of overseas imported confirmed cases (8 cases in Xiamen City, including 1 case of asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases).

On the same day, 12 new cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infected persons were reported (6 cases each in Fuzhou and Xiamen); 10 cases were released from quarantine.

As of 24:00 on December 5, Fujian Province reported a total of 3059 confirmed cases of imported foreign cases, 122 cases are currently hospitalized, and there are no fatal cases; 105 cases of existing imported asymptomatic infected persons are still under medical observation in isolation.

Second, the local epidemic

December 5, 0 ~ 24 hours, Fujian Province reported 122 new local confirmed cases (13 cases in Fuzhou City, Xiamen City, Zhangzhou City, 33 cases each, Quanzhou City, 11 cases, Sanming City, 22 cases, Putian City, 2 cases, Nanping City, Longyan City, 4 cases each; of which 20 cases of asymptomatic infections to confirmed).

356 new cases of local asymptomatic infections were reported that day (60 cases in Fuzhou, 18 cases in Xiamen, 73 cases in Zhangzhou, 65 cases in Quanzhou, 14 cases in Sanming, 33 cases in Putian, 20 cases in Nanping, 13 cases in Longyan, 55 cases in Ningde, and 5 cases in Pingtan Comprehensive Experimental Zone); 23 cases were released from isolation.

The province’s local confirmed cases are currently hospitalized 835 cases, no fatal cases; existing local asymptomatic infected people are still under centralized isolation medical observation 1905 cases.

Third, close contacts

At present, 363,444 close contacts have been released from medical observation, and 72,315 people are still under medical observation.
