Over the past few days, Jiangling County, Hubei Province, has been strictly implementing the “new ten” epidemic prevention and control optimization measures, and 20 mobile vaccination teams have been visiting villages and households to promote vaccination of the new crown for people over 60 years old and to jointly build a safety barrier.

In the afternoon of Dec. 22, medical personnel together with volunteers carried common equipment and medicines to provide vaccination services for people over 60 years old in Yanzha Village, Hao Cave Town, Jiangling County.

Zhang Yueying, 68, was one of them. She told reporters after the vaccination that she was grateful to the medical staff for visiting the vaccination site and guarding the health of the elderly.

At the vaccination site, the medical staff took blood pressure for the elderly, filled out forms for registration, asked them in detail about their physical condition, and then carried out the vaccination work one by one after determining that they were eligible for the vaccination.

According to the report, for the elderly and the elderly with limited mobility, Hao Cave Town has set up a mobile vaccination team composed of community and village committee cadres and medical teams to deliver “vaccines” to the elderly, providing convenient and heart-warming services.

The party branch secretary and village committee director of Yanzha Village, Lu Yongshi, said that he would further enhance the sense of responsibility and urgency to do a good job of vaccination, strengthen positive publicity and do his best to do a good job of vaccination by means of propaganda boards, issuing leaflets to households, and widely forwarding vaccination knowledge through WeChat groups and friends’ circles.

At present, Jiangling County is actively calling on the majority of party members and cadres, volunteers and grid members to use a variety of forms of extensive publicity, for the jurisdiction of the elderly over 60 years of age and other special groups of people, through mapping, except for those suffering from diseases inconvenient vaccination, do a good job of door-to-door service, as far as possible to receive, to build immune protection barrier for them.
