From 0 to 24 hours on October 27, there were 27 new local confirmed cases in the province (19 in Guangzhou, 2 in Shenzhen, 3 in Foshan, 1 in Jiangmen, 1 in Yangjiang, 1 in Maoming); 88 new local asymptomatic infections (46 in Guangzhou, 29 in Foshan, 10 in Meizhou, 1 in Zhongshan, 1 in Jiangmen, 1 in Jieyang). The province has 11 new overseas imported confirmed cases (Guangzhou 4, Shenzhen 5, Foshan 2); 29 new overseas imported asymptomatic infections (Guangzhou 19, Shenzhen 2, Zhuhai 2, Foshan 1, Dongguan 3, Zhongshan 1, Zhaoqing 1).
There were 56 new cases discharged from the province (20 cases imported from abroad), and 532 cases are currently in the hospital (142 cases imported from abroad); 52 new cases of asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation (22 cases imported from abroad), and 996 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (235 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on October 27, the province reported a total of 23,260 positive cases of new pneumonia (13,887 cases imported from abroad), including 11,411 confirmed cases (5,793 cases imported from abroad) and 11,849 asymptomatic cases (8,094 cases imported from abroad).
