New crown pneumonia epidemic in Guangdong Province
On October 11, 0-24 hours, there were 40 new local confirmed cases in the province (3 in Guangzhou, 23 in Shenzhen, 3 in Foshan, 5 in Shaoguan, 5 in Huizhou and 1 in Qingyuan); 11 new local asymptomatic infections (2 in Guangzhou, 6 in Shenzhen, 2 in Zhuhai and 1 in Dongguan); and 3 local asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (3 in Guangzhou). There were 13 new confirmed cases of imported foreign cases in the province (7 cases in Guangzhou, 6 cases in Shenzhen); 20 new cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections (7 cases in Guangzhou, 4 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Zhuhai, 6 cases in Foshan, 1 case in Dongguan, 1 case in Jiangmen); and 1 case of imported foreign asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (1 case in Shanwei).
There are 41 new cases discharged from the province (25 cases imported from abroad), and 582 cases are currently in the hospital (193 cases imported from abroad); 15 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation (8 cases imported from abroad), and 364 cases of asymptomatic infected persons are still under medical observation (154 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on October 11, the province has reported a total of 21,290 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (13,291 cases imported from abroad), including 10,638 confirmed cases (5,560 cases imported from abroad) and 10,652 asymptomatic cases (7,731 cases imported from abroad).
