On November 11, the Office of the Guangdong Meizhou City New Crown Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Command informed that on November 10, Meizhou City had 23 new positive cases (all asymptomatic infections), including 2 new cases in the “10-23” epidemic in Fengshun County (both found in centralized isolation), and 21 new cases in Meixian District In the “11-08” outbreak, there were 21 new cases (5 cases found in home isolation for medical observation, 8 cases found in centralized isolation, and 8 cases found in high-risk areas for screening).
In order to quickly and effectively interrupt the spread of the epidemic, and effectively protect the lives and health of the people in the area, according to the “New Coronavirus Pneumonia Prevention and Control Program (Ninth Edition)” provisions, by expert research and judgment and by the Meixian District New Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Command research decided to expand the scope of control.
First, the town of Shejiang (in addition to the area outside the village of Suguri) and Meizhou High-tech Industrial Park, Guangzhou Auto Parts Industrial Park area as a “high-risk area”, Suguri village to further strengthen social control.
