October 30, 0-24 hours, the province of Guangdong new local confirmed cases 289 cases (232 cases in Guangzhou, 21 cases in Shenzhen, 2 cases in Shantou, 19 cases in Foshan, 2 cases in Shaoguan, 12 cases in Meizhou, 1 case in Jiangmen); new local asymptomatic infections 468 cases (295 cases in Guangzhou, 9 cases in Shenzhen, 80 cases in Foshan, 2 cases in Shaoguan, 76 cases in Meizhou, 3 cases in Dongguan, 2 cases in Jiangmen, 1 case in Qingyuan). Another 2 cases of local asymptomatic to confirmed cases (1 case in Shantou, 1 case in Shaoguan). There were 8 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (Guangzhou 2 cases, Shenzhen 3 cases, Foshan 2 cases, Zhaoqing 1 case); 24 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (Guangzhou 7 cases, Shenzhen 5 cases, Zhuhai 1 case, Foshan 2 cases, Dongguan 9 cases).
The province has discharged 58 new cases (13 cases imported from abroad), and 843 cases are currently in hospital (131 cases imported from abroad); 73 new cases of asymptomatic infections have been released from medical observation (21 cases imported from abroad), and 1,648 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (239 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on October 30, the province reported a total of 24,598 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (13,991 cases imported from abroad), including 11,884 confirmed cases (5,829 cases imported from abroad) and 12,714 asymptomatic cases (8,162 cases imported from abroad).
