On December 2, the Information Office of Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government held a press conference on the prevention and control of the epidemic in Guangzhou.
The press conference introduced that from now on, medical institutions at all levels in Guangzhou city and district will have green code access for general outpatient and emergency patients with health codes; newly admitted inpatients and their companions will be admitted with 24-hour negative nucleic acid certificates. As far as possible, fever clinics should be set up and opened as far as possible, giving full play to the role of 114 standardized fever clinics, strengthening the medical staffing of fever clinics, optimizing the setting of waiting areas and the consultation process, and conducting nucleic acid testing and graded treatment for patients.
