Haikou City Tourism and Culture Bureau honors excellent hotels for fighting epidemics 16 hotels received honorary titles

On September 20, Haikou City Tourism Bureau sent 13 teams to present 65 hotels with plaques of “Outstanding Contribution to Anti-Epidemic Hotel” and “Honorable Hotel for Anti-Epidemic”, fully recognizing the important contribution made by hotels in the city in the prevention and control work of the new crown epidemic in 2022. On August 8, Haikou began to implement temporary area-wide static management, which directly affected the return of tourists. In order to take social responsibility, the Haikou Hotel Association issued an initiative to the city’s hotels: for the stranded tourists to provide a free extension until 19:00 check-out service, to provide guests with preferential basic living security, and to guide the guests together through the difficulties. In order to commend the advanced and establish the typical, recommended by each district travel and culture bureau, Haikou City Travel and Culture Bureau decided to give a notice of commendation to 16 “outstanding contribution to the anti-epidemic hotels” and 49 “anti-epidemic honor hotels” that emerged from the anti-epidemic work of hotels in the city.

Among them, 16 hotels, including Dahua West Coast Holiday Inn, Jingting Seaview Hotel, New Osrock Hotel, Novotel Haikou Xinbu Island, Mission Hills Resort & Spa, Shadowman Apartments and Vienna International Hotel International Convention & Exhibition Center, were awarded “Outstanding Contribution to Anti-Epidemic Hotel”; Li Feng Hotel (Haikou Binhai Avenue), Tianyou 49 hotels, including the Grand Hotel, Sheraton Hot Spring Resort Hotel and Shangri-La Hotel, were awarded “Honorable Hotels for Anti-epidemic”.
