Henan has 12 new local confirmed cases and 26 local asymptomatic cases on Oct. 10

From 0 to 24 hours on October 10, there were 12 new local confirmed cases in Henan (5 cases in Zhengzhou City, 1 case in Luohe City, all of which were found by screening and isolation control of key populations; 6 cases of asymptomatic infected persons to confirmed cases), 26 new local asymptomatic infected persons (2 cases in Luoyang City; 6 cases in Zhengzhou City, 5 cases in Pingdingshan City, 1 case in Luoyang City, 1 case in Nanyang City, 1 case in Shangqiu City (1 case in Puyang City, 1 case in Sanmenxia City, all of which were found in the screening and isolation control of key populations; 8 cases of people returning to Henan from outside the province, all of which were managed in a closed loop from point to point). There are no new confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad. 14 asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation, including 9 cases in China (3 cases in Jiaozuo, 3 cases in Puyang, 1 case in Zhengzhou, 1 case in Shangqiu, 1 case in Nanyang) and 5 cases imported from abroad.
From January 21, 2020 to October 10, 2022 at 2400 hours, the province reported a total of 3372 confirmed cases (3144 local cases and 228 imported cases), 44 hospitalized cases (42 local cases and 2 imported cases), and 276 asymptomatic infected persons still under medical observation (239 local cases and 37 imported cases). A total of 191,327 close contacts have been traced, and 9,953 close contacts are under observation.
