Cao and Huai, Ke Dongfeng couple is a village doctor in Shangban Village, Luoting Town, Nanchang Administration, Jiangxi. The couple has been here since 1994, and for nearly 30 years, they have been on duty almost every day to receive medical treatment, not only free of charge for villagers to visit, but also to sell drugs for a small profit to maintain a basic working life. Rooted in the village for many years, the villagers treat them as family, and many people affectionately call them “brother and sister-in-law” and “aunt and uncle”.
On the eve of the Chinese New Year in the year of the rabbit, people in rural areas were touched by the need for medical care.
