From 0 to 24 hours on December 2, there were 43 new local confirmed cases in Hubei Province (reported in Wuhan, all of which were light, including 7 cases of isolation and control personnel) and 594 new local asymptomatic infections (350 cases in Wuhan, of which 9 were imported from other provinces and 102 were isolation and control personnel; 48 cases in Huangshi, of which 4 were imported from other provinces and 41 were isolation and control personnel; 24 cases in Yichang. As of 24:00 on December 2, there were 217 confirmed local cases (216 cases in Wuhan and 1 case in Shennongjia Forestry District, all of them were light) and 0 suspected cases treated in designated medical institutions. 7,300 cases of local asymptomatic infected persons still under medical observation in centralized isolation (4,190 cases in Wuhan, 499 cases in Huangshi, 420 cases in Xiangyang, 411 cases in Ezhou, 288 cases in Jingzhou, 232 cases in Huanggang, 212 cases in Jingmen, 204 cases in Yichang, 195 cases in Xianning, 101 cases in Xiantao, 92 cases in Suizhou, 89 cases in Xiaogan, 89 cases in Enshi, 82 cases in Shiyan (82 cases, Qianjiang City 75 cases, Tianmen City 74 cases, Shennongjia Forestry District 47 cases).

In Hubei Province, a total of 63,961 cases were cured and discharged from hospitals, 4,512 cases died, and a total of 68,696 confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia were reported. The number of close contacts still under intensive isolation for medical observation is 110,219.
