National Health Commission: 2,966 new local confirmed cases yesterday

The National Health Commission informed that on December 21, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 3030 new cases of confirmed cases. Among them, 64 imported cases (Guangdong 47 cases, Sichuan 7 cases, Shandong 5 cases, Liaoning 2 cases, Shanghai 2 cases, Heilongjiang 1 case) local cases 2966 cases (Guangdong 1325 cases, Beijing 471 cases, Chongqing 209 cases, Fujian 187 cases, Yunnan 157 cases, Hunan 115 cases, Sichuan 97 cases, Tianjin 77 cases, Shanghai 47 cases, Shanxi 46 cases, Henan 42 cases, Jiangxi (40 cases, 37 cases in Zhejiang, 31 cases in Shaanxi, 20 cases in Shandong, 15 cases in Heilongjiang, 14 cases in Hebei, 13 cases in Jiangsu, 10 cases in Guangxi, 6 cases in Qinghai, 5 cases in Inner Mongolia, and 2 cases in Hainan). No new death cases. There was one new suspected case, which was a local case (in Beijing).
There were 2,352 new cases discharged from the hospital, including 64 imported cases and 2,288 local cases (628 cases in Guangdong, 464 cases in Beijing, 325 cases in Henan, 295 cases in Shanxi, 104 cases in Shandong, 79 cases in Guizhou, 78 cases in Fujian, 49 cases in Shanghai, 45 cases in Chongqing, 30 cases in Liaoning, 29 cases in Yunnan, 27 cases in Sichuan, 20 cases in Zhejiang, 18 cases in Hebei, 16 cases in Hubei and 15 cases in Qinghai). (16 cases, 15 cases in Qinghai, 14 cases in Hainan, 13 cases in Inner Mongolia, 11 cases in Heilongjiang, 8 cases in Shaanxi, 7 cases in Tianjin, 5 cases in Jiangsu, 4 cases in Hunan, 2 cases in Jilin, 1 case in Anhui, 1 case in Guangxi), 56880 close contacts released from medical observation, 45 more serious cases than the previous day.
There are 475 confirmed cases (no serious cases) imported from abroad and no existing suspected cases. There are 28,824 confirmed cases, 28,349 cured and discharged cases, and no fatal cases.
As of 24:00 on December 21, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 37770 confirmed cases (including 374 serious cases), 346207 cumulative cured and discharged cases, 5241 cumulative fatal cases, 389306 cumulative reported confirmed cases, and 20 existing suspected cases. A total of 15,360,729 close contacts have been traced, and 211,122 close contacts are still under medical observation.
A total of 9117589 cases of confirmed cases were received from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 491154 cases in Hong Kong SAR (107302 cases discharged, 11293 cases died), 1755 cases in Macau SAR (1361 cases discharged, 17 cases died), 8624680 cases in Taiwan (13742 cases discharged, 14958 cases died).
