280 new cases were cured and discharged on the same day, including 54 cases imported from abroad and 226 local cases (77 cases in Sichuan, 40 cases in Inner Mongolia, 29 cases in Hainan, 15 cases in Guizhou, 14 cases in Beijing, 14 cases in Tibet, 11 cases in Shandong, 11 cases in Guangdong, 5 cases in Tianjin, 3 cases in Guangxi, 3 cases in Shaanxi, 1 case in Liaoning, 1 case in Jiangxi, 1 case in Hubei, 1 case in Xinjiang), and the discharge of medical observation of The number of close contacts was 12,468, and the number of serious cases increased by 5 cases compared with the previous day.

There are 558 confirmed cases (no serious cases) imported from abroad and no existing suspected cases. The total number of confirmed cases is 23,809, the total number of cured and discharged cases is 23,251, and there are no fatal cases.

As of 24:00 on September 25, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 2,962 confirmed cases (including 41 severe cases), 241,496 cumulative cured and discharged cases, 5,226 cumulative fatal cases, 249,684 cumulative reported confirmed cases, and no existing suspected cases. A total of 5936176 close contacts have been traced, and 136475 close contacts are still under medical observation.

The cumulative number of confirmed cases received from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is 6662991 cases. Among them, 412,147 cases in Hong Kong SAR (83,531 discharges, 10,116 deaths), 793 cases in Macao SAR (787 discharges, 6 deaths), and 625,051 cases in Taiwan (13,742 discharges, 10,828 deaths).
