December 18, 0-24 hours, the province’s new local confirmed cases of 846 cases (374 cases in Guangzhou, Shenzhen 70 cases, Zhuhai 59 cases, Shantou 45 cases, Foshan 42 cases, Shaoguan 16 cases, Heyuan 1 case, Meizhou 3 cases, Huizhou 57 cases, Shanwei 8 cases, Zhongshan 33 cases, Jiangmen 2 cases, Yangjiang 23 cases, Zhanjiang 13 cases, Maoming 27 cases, Zhaoqing 15 cases, Qingyuan 13 cases, Chaozhou 6 cases (39 cases in Yunfu). The province has 31 new cases of imported confirmed cases (26 cases in Guangzhou, 3 cases in Shenzhen, 2 cases in Foshan).
There are 616 new cases discharged from the province (10 cases imported from abroad), and 9,934 cases are currently in the hospital (132 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on December 18, the province reported a total of 60,442 confirmed cases of new pneumonia (6,676 cases imported from abroad).
