New crown pneumonia epidemic in Guangdong Province on October 27, 2022

On October 26 from 0 to 24, there were 14 new local confirmed cases in the province (11 in Guangzhou, 1 in Foshan, 1 in Huizhou and 1 in Jiangmen); 84 new local asymptomatic infections (39 in Guangzhou, 2 in Shenzhen, 9 in Foshan, 29 in Meizhou, 2 in Huizhou, 1 in Jiangmen and 2 in Jieyang); and 1 local asymptomatic infection to a confirmed case (1 in Huizhou). The province has 4 new confirmed cases of overseas importation (Guangzhou 1, Shenzhen 2, Foshan 1); 28 new cases of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections (Guangzhou 10, Shenzhen 6, Foshan 4, Dongguan 6, Zhongshan 1, Zhaoqing 1); and 1 case of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 1).
There were 42 new cases discharged from the province (11 cases imported from abroad), 550 cases are currently in the hospital (151 cases imported from abroad); 60 new cases of asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation (35 cases imported from abroad), 931 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (228 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on October 26, the province has reported 23,105 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (13,847 cases imported from abroad), including 11,373 confirmed cases (5,782 cases imported from abroad) and 11,732 asymptomatic cases (8,065 cases imported from abroad).
