New crown pneumonia epidemic in Guangdong Province on September 21, 2022

From 0 to 24 hours on September 20, there were 3 new local confirmed cases in the province (2 cases in Shenzhen and 1 case in Qingyuan); 2 new local asymptomatic infections (1 case in Guangzhou and 1 case in Qingyuan). The province has 9 new confirmed cases of imported foreign cases (Guangzhou 2, Shenzhen 5, Foshan 1, Qingyuan 1); 12 new cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections (Guangzhou 3, Shenzhen 4, Zhuhai 1, Foshan 1, Huizhou 2, Dongguan 1); and 3 cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 2, Foshan 1).
There are 64 new cases discharged from the province (19 cases imported from abroad), 309 cases are currently in the hospital (141 cases imported from abroad); 37 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation (18 cases imported from abroad), and 247 cases of asymptomatic infected persons are still under medical observation (162 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on September 20, the province reported a total of 19,884 cases of new positive pneumonia infections (12,579 imported from abroad), including 9,813 confirmed cases (5,196 imported from abroad) and 10,071 asymptomatic infections (7,383 imported from abroad).
