From 0 to 24 hours on September 26, there were 12 new local confirmed cases in the province (2 in Guangzhou, 7 in Shenzhen and 3 in Zhanjiang); 5 new local asymptomatic infections (1 in Guangzhou, 3 in Shenzhen and 1 in Huizhou). There were 14 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (6 cases in Guangzhou, 7 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Zhongshan); 18 new asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (3 cases in Guangzhou, 7 cases in Shenzhen, 2 cases in Zhuhai, 1 case in Foshan, 5 cases in Dongguan).
There are 28 new cases discharged from the province (12 cases imported from abroad), 212 cases are currently in the hospital (131 cases imported from abroad); 24 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation (16 cases imported from abroad), 168 cases of asymptomatic infected persons are still under medical observation (141 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on September 26, the province reported a total of 20,111 cases of positive new coronary pneumonia (12,763 cases imported from abroad), including 9,933 confirmed cases (5,283 cases imported from abroad) and 10,178 asymptomatic cases (7,480 cases imported from abroad).
