New crown pneumonia outbreak in Guangdong Province on November 1, 2022

October 31, 0-24 hours, the province’s new native confirmed cases 239 cases (190 cases in Guangzhou, 23 cases in Shenzhen, 8 cases in Shantou, 1 case in Foshan, 16 cases in Meizhou, 1 case in Jiangmen); new native asymptomatic infections 458 cases (289 cases in Guangzhou, 6 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Shantou, 4 cases in Foshan, 154 cases in Meizhou, 2 cases in Jiangmen, 2 cases in Jieyang); another 3 cases of native asymptomatic to confirmed (2 cases in Jiangmen and 1 case in Qingyuan). There were 6 new confirmed cases of overseas importation (Guangzhou 1, Shenzhen 4, Foshan 1); 24 new cases of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections (Guangzhou 4, Shenzhen 8, Zhuhai 2, Foshan 4, Dongguan 6); and 1 case of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (Dongguan 1).
There were 37 new cases discharged from the province (11 cases imported from abroad), and 1055 cases are currently in the hospital (127 cases imported from abroad); 64 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation (21 cases imported from abroad), and 2062 cases of asymptomatic infected persons are still under medical observation (241 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on October 31, the province has reported 25,325 cases of positive new coronary pneumonia (14,021 imported from abroad), including 12,133 confirmed cases (5,836 imported from abroad) and 13,192 asymptomatic cases (8,185 imported from abroad).
