New crown pneumonia outbreak in Guangdong Province on November 2, 2022

From 0 to 24 hours on November 1, there were 106 new local confirmed cases in the province (73 in Guangzhou, 18 in Shenzhen, 5 in Shantou, 4 in Meizhou, 4 in Jiangmen, 1 in Yangjiang, 1 in Qingyuan); 298 new local asymptomatic cases (253 in Guangzhou, 5 in Shenzhen, 2 in Zhuhai, 2 in Shantou, 4 in Foshan, 1 in Shaoguan, 26 in Meizhou, 3 in Dongguan, 1 in Jiangmen, 1 in Jieyang (1 case); another 19 cases of local asymptomatic to confirmed cases (12 cases in Guangzhou, 1 case in Shaoguan, 5 cases in Meizhou, 1 case in Jiangmen). There were 10 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (Guangzhou 6, Shenzhen 3, Zhuhai 1); 24 new asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (Guangzhou 13, Shenzhen 1, Zhuhai 1, Dongguan 6, Jiangmen 1, Zhaoqing 2).

There were 32 new cases discharged from the province (16 cases imported from abroad), and 1158 cases are currently in the hospital (121 cases imported from abroad); 68 new cases of asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation (27 cases imported from abroad), and 2297 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (238 cases imported from abroad).

As of 24:00 on November 1, the province has reported 25,763 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (14,055 imported from abroad), including 12,268 confirmed cases (5,846 imported from abroad) and 13,495 asymptomatic cases (8,209 imported from abroad).
