New crown pneumonia outbreak in Guangdong Province on November 25, 2022

From 0 to 24 November, 395 new local confirmed cases were diagnosed in the province (257 in Guangzhou, 28 in Shenzhen, 13 in Zhuhai, 1 in Shantou, 26 in Foshan, 8 in Shaoguan, 7 in Huizhou, 2 in Dongguan, 5 in Zhongshan, 2 in Jiangmen, 4 in Yangjiang, 18 in Zhanjiang, 6 in Maoming, 12 in Zhaoqing, 6 in Qingyuan); 7,584 new local asymptomatic infections (Guangzhou 7267 cases, Shenzhen 15 cases, Zhuhai 12 cases, Shantou 1 case, Foshan 150 cases, Shaoguan 4 cases, Meizhou 12 cases, Huizhou 8 cases, Shanwei 1 case, Dongguan 33 cases, Zhongshan 34 cases, Jiangmen 3 cases, Yangjiang 3 cases, Zhanjiang 16 cases, Maoming 1 case, Zhaoqing 14 cases, Qingyuan 5 cases, Jieyang 5 cases); another 497 cases of local asymptomatic infections were transferred to confirmed cases (Guangzhou 477 cases, Zhuhai (5 cases, Zhongshan 2 cases, Yangjiang 6 cases, Zhanjiang 1 case, Maoming 5 cases, Chaozhou 1 case). There were 23 new cases of confirmed cases imported from abroad (Guangzhou 11, Shenzhen 11, Foshan 1); 21 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (Guangzhou 9, Shenzhen 6, Foshan 5, Jiangmen 1).

There were 991 new cases discharged from the province (11 cases imported from abroad), and 10,735 cases are currently in the hospital (252 cases imported from abroad); 3,640 new cases of asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation (17 cases imported from abroad), and 89,404 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (216 cases imported from abroad).

As of 24:00 on November 24, the province has reported a total of 143,047 cases of new positive pneumonia infections (14,932 cases imported from abroad), including 29,131 confirmed cases (6,264 cases imported from abroad) and 113,916 asymptomatic infections (8,668 cases imported from abroad).
