New crown pneumonia outbreak in Guangdong Province on November 4, 2022

From 0 to 24 hours on November 3, there were 187 new local confirmed cases in the province (142 in Guangzhou, 9 in Shenzhen, 18 in Shantou, 1 in Foshan, 1 in Heyuan, 6 in Meizhou, 1 in Jiangmen, 8 in Maoming and 1 in Yunfu); 470 new local asymptomatic infections (430 in Guangzhou, 3 in Shenzhen, 13 in Shantou, 13 in Foshan, 9 in Meizhou and 2 in Jieyang); and 8 Local asymptomatic to confirmed cases (7 cases in Guangzhou, 1 case in Shantou). There were 11 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (1 case in Guangzhou, 10 cases in Shenzhen); 15 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (2 cases in Guangzhou, 6 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Foshan, 1 case in Shanwei, 4 cases in Dongguan, 1 case in Zhongshan); 2 other cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad were transferred to confirmed cases (1 case in Shenzhen, 1 case in Zhuhai).
There are 53 new cases discharged from the province (6 cases imported from abroad) and 1,383 cases currently in the hospital (131 cases imported from abroad); 125 new cases of asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation (16 cases imported from abroad) and 2,915 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (239 cases imported from abroad).
As of 24:00 on November 3, the province has reported 26,911 cases of new positive pneumonia infections (14,121 cases imported from abroad), including 12,591 confirmed cases (5,871 cases imported from abroad) and 14,320 asymptomatic cases (8,250 cases imported from abroad).
