Nucleic acid sampling booths are listed on idle fish for sale The seller is a testing company: idle is a waste
On December 29, Red Star Capital Bureau searched on the second-hand item trading platform Idlefish and found that some users had listed unused nucleic acid sampling kiosks, some of which were steel sampling kiosks and some with positive pressure systems inside, with prices ranging from hundreds to tens of thousands of yuan.
Among them, Mr. Zhao listed nucleic acid sampling kiosks with positive pressure systems on idle fish, which are the remaining samples from their factory.
“We started it in 2020, sold a few batches, and now there are two samples remaining.” Mr. Zhao told Red Star Capital Bureau that they are the manufacturer of nucleic acid kiosks, previously their factory were sold nucleic acid sampling kiosks directly to testing agencies, now there are basically no new orders, and intend to dispose of the remaining 2 samples at a cost price of 9,800 yuan/each, “but none of them have been sold so far.”
Not only Mr. Zhao’s factory, some nucleic acid testing companies want to deal with the existing nucleic acid sampling booths have also become difficult.
Ms. Guo is a staff member of a third-party testing organization in Zhengzhou. Before the New Guinea epidemic, they focused on testing related to food and the environment; after the outbreak, they obtained the New Guinea virus nucleic acid testing qualification and launched a nucleic acid testing business.
“We bought it for about 28,000, and the leaders said it would be fine to sell it for more than 10,000. In fact, we are not to earn money, mainly (sampling booth) idle a little waste, someone needs us to transfer out.” However, Ms. Guo said, hanging on the idle fish for about two weeks, has not yet sold the sampling booth.
“Many nucleic acid testing companies are now not doing, sampling kiosks will be a lot of idle, idle after how to deal with, how to reuse, it is estimated that many companies will be facing problems.” Ms. Guo said.
