On September 18, from 0-24 hours, 11 cities reported 1 new indigenous positive case, which was detected in a centralized isolation site, and control measures have been implemented.
Eleven cities reported 6 new confirmed cases. Among them, 6 cases were imported from abroad (imported from Korea); there were no local cases.
No new cases were cured and discharged on that day, and there were 14 confirmed cases.
Eleven cities reported 20 new cases of asymptomatic infection. Among them, 19 cases were imported from abroad (9 cases from Korea, 4 cases from the UK, 1 case from Vietnam, 1 case from Australia, 1 case from the US, 1 case from Hungary, 1 case from Mexico, 1 case from Japan); 1 case from China (HCM City).
There were 6 cases of asymptomatic infected persons who were released from medical observation on that day, and 101 cases of asymptomatic infected persons who were still under medical observation.
As of 24:00 on September 18, the province reported a total of 3,401 confirmed cases. Among them, 674 cases were imported from abroad and 2727 cases were local cases.
