According to the Hubei Health Commission, from 0 to 24 October 23, there was 1 new confirmed local case in Hubei Province (1 case in Wuhan, light), 28 new local asymptomatic infections (12 cases in Wuhan, of which 4 were detected in isolation sites and 3 in control areas; 10 cases in Xiangyang, of which 9 were detected in isolation sites and 1 in control areas; 4 cases in Jingmen, of which 2 were detected in isolation sites and 1 in control areas; 1 case in Jingzhou and 1 case in Enshizhou, both in control areas), 0 new confirmed cases imported from abroad, and 5 new asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (2 cases imported from the Philippines and 1 case in Enshizhou, both in control areas). (1 case in Jingzhou City and 1 case in Enshi Prefecture, all detected in the control area), 0 new confirmed cases imported from abroad, 5 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (2 cases from the Philippines, 1 case from Hong Kong, 1 case from Pakistan and 1 case from Korea), 0 new suspected cases, 0 new fatal cases, 0 cases discharged on the same day, and 0 asymptomatic infections discharged on the same day. 32 cases under medical observation (10 cases in Xiantao, 5 cases in Jingmen, 3 cases in Huanggang, 3 cases in Enshi, 2 cases in Wuhan, 2 cases in Shiyan, 2 cases in Jingzhou, 1 case in Xiangyang, 1 case in Yichang, 1 case in Suizhou; 2 cases imported from abroad).

As of 24:00 on October 23, there were 7 confirmed local cases treated in designated medical institutions (5 cases in Xiangyang, 1 case of common type and 4 cases of light type; 1 case in Wuhan, 1 case in Huangshi, which is light type) and 0 suspected cases. There are still 459 cases of local asymptomatic infected persons under intensive medical observation (193 cases in Wuhan, 103 cases in Xiangyang, 54 cases in Jingmen, 35 cases in Jingzhou, 24 cases in Xiantao, 18 cases in Suizhou, 9 cases in Huanggang, 7 cases in Shiyan, 7 cases in Enshi, 4 cases in Yichang, 2 cases in Xiaogan, 1 case in Huangshi, 1 case in Tianmen and 1 case in Qianjiang).
