The reporter learned that Pfizer’s star anti-new crown oral drug, nematovir tablets/ritonavir tablets combination package (i.e., Paxlovid), has been lowered from 2,300 yuan/box to 1,890 yuan/box. Paxlovid was approved for marketing in China in February this year, and had been temporarily included in the health insurance at a price of 2,300 yuan/box, lower than its pricing in the U.S.
