From 00:00 to 24:00 on September 23, there were no new local confirmed cases, suspected cases and asymptomatic infections in Beijing; 2 new confirmed cases and 4 asymptomatic infections were imported from abroad, and no new suspected cases. There were 20 cured cases and 9 asymptomatic cases released from medical observation.
Confirmed cases imported from abroad
Confirmed case 1: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from UK on September 18, sent to centralized isolation hotel through closed-loop management, diagnosed as confirmed case on September 23.
Confirmed case 2: German national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Germany on September 21, sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and diagnosed as confirmed case on September 23.
All the above cases have been transferred to designated hospitals, epidemiological investigations have been conducted and control measures have been implemented as required.
