There were 2 new confirmed cases imported from abroad, both in Weihai, imported from Korea. There were 6 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, including 4 cases in Qingdao, 2 cases imported from Korea, 1 case imported from Hong Kong, China and 1 case imported from Vietnam; and 2 cases in Yantai, both imported from Korea.

From 00:00 to 24:00 on December 2, 2022, the province reported 2 cases of local asymptomatic infections turning into confirmed cases, including 1 case in Weihai and 1 case in Rizhao. One case of overseas imported asymptomatic infected person turned into a confirmed case in Qingdao.

From 00:00 to 24:00 on December 2, 2022, 27 local confirmed cases were discharged from the province, including 18 cases in Jinan, 6 cases in Qingdao, 1 case in Weifang, 1 case in Tai’an, and 1 case in Linyi. There were 565 cases of local asymptomatic infected persons released from medical observation, including 180 cases in Jinan, 79 cases in Liaocheng, 69 cases in Jining, 59 cases in Zaozhuang, 58 cases in Zibo, 37 cases in Linyi, 26 cases in Weifang, 17 cases in Qingdao, 16 cases in Heze, 9 cases in Yantai, 8 cases in Dezhou, 4 cases in Dongying, 2 cases in Tai’an and 1 case in Weihai. The province discharged 2 cases of confirmed cases imported from abroad, both in Qingdao. Eleven cases of asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad were released from medical observation, including 10 cases in Qingdao and 1 case in Linyi.

As of 24:00 on December 2, 2022, there were 739 confirmed local cases and 9186 local asymptomatic infections in the province. The province has 20 confirmed cases of overseas imported cases and 58 cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infected persons.
