Shandong Province yesterday added 7 new confirmed indigenous cases and 34 indigenous asymptomatic infections
From 00:00 to 24:00 on September 12, 2022, the province reported 7 new confirmed local cases, all in Qingdao, with 4 cases detected in high-risk areas, 1 case detected in centralized isolation sites, 1 case detected in medium-risk areas, and 1 case detected by active medical consultation. There were 34 new cases of local asymptomatic infections, including 22 cases in Qingdao, with 6 cases detected in centralized isolation sites, 6 cases detected in high-risk areas, 6 cases detected in medium-risk areas and 4 cases detected in community screening; 9 cases in Jining, with 7 cases detected in centralized isolation sites and 2 cases detected in home isolation for medical observation; 2 cases in Yantai, both detected in centralized isolation sites; and 1 case in Linyi, detected in screening of key personnel. There were no new confirmed cases imported from abroad. There were 2 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, both in Qingdao, imported from Hong Kong, China and imported from Korea.

Between 0:00 and 24:00 on September 12, 2022, the province discharged 1 case of local confirmed cases, in Jining. Local asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation in 59 cases, including 57 cases in Jining, 1 case in Weihai and 1 case in Heze. Two cases of confirmed cases imported from outside the province were discharged, including one case in Jinan and one case in Qingdao. Six cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation, including three cases in Qingdao, two cases in Weihai and one case in Yantai.
As of 24:00 on September 12, 2022, there were 93 confirmed local cases and 611 local asymptomatic infections in the province. The province has 17 confirmed cases of overseas imported cases and 27 cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infections.
