From 00:00 to 24:00 on October 31, 2022, the province reported 7 new local confirmed cases, including 4 cases in Qingdao, all detected in centralized isolation sites; 3 cases in Zaozhuang, 2 cases detected in centralized isolation sites and 1 case detected in high-risk areas. There were 96 new cases of local asymptomatic infections, including 25 cases in Zaozhuang, 22 cases detected in centralized isolation sites and 3 cases detected in high-risk areas; 14 cases in Zibo, all detected in centralized isolation sites (including 1 case of people returning to Lu from outside the province); 14 cases in Liaocheng, 13 cases detected in centralized isolation sites (including 1 case of people returning to Lu from outside the province) and 1 case of people returning to Lu from outside the province, detected by screening of key personnel; 11 cases in Linyi, all detected in centralized isolation sites; 11 cases in Jining, all detected in centralized isolation sites. 7 cases in Jining, all detected in centralized isolation points; 7 cases in Dezhou, 4 cases detected in centralized isolation points and 3 cases detected in high-risk areas; 5 cases in Qingdao, all detected in centralized isolation points; 3 cases in Dongying, all detected in centralized isolation points; 3 cases in Tai’an, all detected in screening of key personnel (including 1 case of personnel returning to Lu from outside the province); 2 cases in Jinan, 1 case detected in centralized isolation points and 1 case of personnel entering Lu from outside the province, detected in screening of key personnel; 2 cases in Yan’an, 1 case detected in centralized isolation points and 1 case of personnel returning to Lu from outside the province, detected in screening of key personnel. Yantai 2 cases, both detected at the centralized isolation site; Binzhou 2 cases, 1 case detected at the centralized isolation site, 1 case for people returning to Lu from outside the province, detected at the key personnel screening; Heze 1 case, for people returning to Lu from outside the province, detected at the centralized isolation site. There were no new confirmed cases imported from abroad. There was one new case of asymptomatic infection imported from abroad, in Qingdao, imported from Hong Kong, China.

From 00:00 to 24:00 on October 31, 2022, the province reported that asymptomatic infected persons turned into confirmed cases.

Between 0000 and 2400 hours on October 31, 2022, the province discharged 2 cases of indigenous confirmed cases, both in Zaozhuang. Twenty-nine cases of local asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation, including 6 cases in Zaozhuang, 4 cases in Heze, 3 cases in Weifang, 3 cases in Linyi, 2 cases in Dongying, 2 cases in Jining, 2 cases in Tai’an, 2 cases in Liaocheng, 2 cases in Binzhou, 1 case in Jinan, 1 case in Rizhao, and 1 case in Dezhou. The province discharged 2 cases of confirmed cases imported from abroad, both in Qingdao. Three cases of asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad were released from medical observation, including two cases in Yantai and one case in Qingdao.

As of 24:00 on October 31, 2022, there were 25 local confirmed cases and 739 local asymptomatic infections in the province. The province has 4 confirmed cases of overseas importation and 23 cases of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections.
