The Municipal Health Commission informed this morning (November 15) that from 0-24 hours on November 14, 2022, there were no new local confirmed cases of New Coronary Pneumonia and 16 new local asymptomatic infections, all of which were found in isolation control. There were 2 new confirmed cases of imported New Coronary Pneumonia from abroad and 19 new asymptomatic infections.

Asymptomatic infected person 1, residing in Pudong New Area, was a close contact of a previously reported local infected person from a foreign province returning to Shanghai in the city. The nucleic acid test result of the new coronavirus was abnormal during the isolation and control period, and the result was reviewed by the CDC as positive. Comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were diagnosed as asymptomatic infections.
