Six new local confirmed cases and seven asymptomatic infections in Henan

From 0 to 24 hours on October 17, there were 6 new local confirmed cases in the province (6 cases in Zhengzhou, of which 4 cases were found in isolation control and 2 cases were found in key population screening). 7 new cases of local asymptomatic infections (4 cases in Puyang, including 1 case found in isolation control; 2 cases in Zhengzhou, both found in isolation control; 1 case of out-of-province co-investigator, point-to-point closed-loop management). There were 3 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, and no new confirmed cases imported from abroad. 3 confirmed cases were cured and discharged from hospital, including 2 locally (1 each in Zhengzhou and Anyang) and 1 imported from abroad. 13 asymptomatic infections were released from medical observation, including 8 locally (3 each in Zhengzhou and Anyang, 1 each in Shangqiu and Xinyang) and 5 imported from abroad.
As of 24:00 on October 17, 2022, there were 99 hospitalized cases in the province (99 local cases), and 358 asymptomatic infected persons were still under medical observation (325 local cases and 33 imported cases).
