Taiwan added 18,179 new cases of confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia and 38 new deaths

Taiwan Regional Epidemic Command Center announced on the 22nd that 18,179 new confirmed cases of Newcastle pneumonia were added, including 18,150 local cases and 29 imported cases from abroad, with 38 new deaths among the confirmed cases.
The new local cases ranged in age from under 5 years old to over 90 years old. The new deaths were 23 males and 15 females, ranging in age from 20s to 90s, of which 17 cases did not receive more than 3 doses of the new crown vaccine. There were 66 new cases of moderate to severe illness on the same day.
Statistics show that, up to now, a total of 8,193,072 cases of New Coronary Pneumonia have been confirmed in Taiwan, including 8,155,703 local cases.
