The latest cost of “living with” the new crown outbreak
Infections continue to climb, hospital admissions and deaths are increasing, sequelae are severe, booster vaccination rates are low, and the government is ill-prepared for a new round of outbreaks this winter. …… Recently, many U.S. media outlets have expressed concern about the status and development of the new crown epidemic in their own countries and in Europe.
Bloomberg reported that in the United States, the cost of “living with the new crown” is much higher than public health experts predicted. So far this year, more than 226,000 people have died in the U.S. as a result of NCC, and long-term NCC sequelae have become a “parallel” epidemic to the NCC epidemic itself, with millions of people suffering from long-term NCC symptoms, a number that will grow by the millions if a better vaccine and treatment is not developed. U.S. News & World Report revealed that 81% of U.S. adults with chronic neonatal symptoms reported that their ability to perform daily activities was impaired, and 25% reported that their ability to perform daily activities was “severely impaired.” As of late September of this year, 15 percent of adults in the United States who had contracted neocon are now suffering from long-term neocon symptoms.
CNN reported on Oct. 7 that Europe may see a new outbreak of neo-crown as temperatures drop, and experts say hundreds of new variants are being discovered. The previous week there have been 1.5 million confirmed cases in Europe, an 8% increase over the previous week. The number of hospital admissions in the UK and Italy increased by 45% and 32% respectively in the week. The European public’s judgment that the new crown is over brings a false sense of security, when in fact many governments are ill-prepared for the new outbreak to come and are not fully open about their response to the outbreak.
NPR recently reported that there are early indications that a surge in the number of new crown infections in the United States may be imminent. U.S. infectious disease research experts say the surge in new crown infections in Europe as winter approaches portends a similar situation in the United States. Levels of New Coronavirus detected in wastewater have risen in several areas of the United States, and low rates of New Coronavirus booster vaccinations could make the situation even worse. CNN predicts that 16,000 people will be hospitalized and 1,200 will die every day in the U.S. from this winter through next March due to NCC.
