The reporter learned from the forty-first press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown epidemic in the Tibet Autonomous Region that from 00:00 to 24:00 on September 17, there were 6 new confirmed cases of indigenous new crown pneumonia in the region (reported for Lhasa city). New asymptomatic infections 39 cases (including 27 cases in Lhasa city, 9 cases in Rikaze city, 1 case in Changdu city, 2 cases in Naqu city).

From 0:00 to 14:00 on September 18, there were 0 new confirmed cases of local new crown pneumonia in the whole region. New asymptomatic infections 22 cases (including 19 cases in Lhasa, 2 cases in Shigatse, 1 case in Chamdo).

As of 24:00 on September 17, there were 28 high-risk areas and 118 medium-risk areas in the region. 45 new cases of infection were added on September 17, all of which were found in isolation control areas.

As of 24:00 on September 17, 2,343 people were cured and discharged from the region, and 56,556 close contacts were released from centralized isolation and observation. Currently 63392 people are under centralized isolation observation.
