December 19, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 2722 new cases of confirmed cases. Among them, 66 imported cases (36 cases in Guangdong, 10 cases in Sichuan, 5 cases in Beijing, 5 cases in Shanghai, 3 cases in Inner Mongolia, 2 cases in Liaoning, 2 cases in Shandong, 1 case in Tianjin, 1 case in Heilongjiang, 1 case in Shaanxi); 2,656 local cases (1,075 cases in Guangdong, 456 cases in Beijing, 189 cases in Chongqing, 137 cases in Jiangxi, 125 cases in Fujian, 115 cases in Hunan, 106 cases in Shanghai, 93 cases in Sichuan 93 cases, Yunnan 85 cases, Zhejiang 47 cases, Tianjin 45 cases, Henan 45 cases, Shandong 32 cases, Shaanxi 26 cases, Inner Mongolia 21 cases, Heilongjiang 17 cases, Shanxi 13 cases, Hebei 12 cases, Jilin 5 cases, Jiangsu 4 cases, Hainan 4 cases, Guangxi 3 cases, Guizhou 1 case). There were 5 new cases of death, all local cases, in Beijing; no new suspected cases.

There were 2017 new cured cases discharged on the same day, including 89 imported cases from abroad and 1928 local cases (917 cases in Guangdong, 288 cases in Beijing, 191 cases in Yunnan, 93 cases in Chongqing, 67 cases in Liaoning, 62 cases in Fujian, 59 cases in Sichuan, 36 cases in Zhejiang, 32 cases in Shaanxi, 29 cases in Inner Mongolia, 29 cases in Heilongjiang, 29 cases in Shandong, 21 cases in Henan, 15 cases in Hainan, 11 cases in Jiangsu (11 cases, Hebei 8 cases, Guizhou 7 cases, Tianjin 6 cases, Shanxi 6 cases, Shanghai 4 cases, Hubei 4 cases, Hunan 4 cases, Tibet 4 cases, Qinghai 3 cases, Jilin 2 cases, Xinjiang 1 case), 61,019 close contacts released from medical observation, 23 more serious cases than the previous day.

There are 467 confirmed cases (no serious cases) imported from abroad and no existing suspected cases. There are 28,708 confirmed cases and 28,241 cured and discharged cases, with no fatal cases.

As of 24:00 on December 19, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 35,976 confirmed cases (including 276 severe cases), 34,902 cumulative cured and discharged cases, 5,242 cumulative deaths, 383,175 cumulative reported confirmed cases, and 19 existing suspected cases. A total of 15,329,166 close contacts have been traced, and 291,547 close contacts are still under medical observation.

A total of 9077536 cases of confirmed cases were received from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 487553 cases in Hong Kong SAR (106301 discharges, 11210 deaths), 1569 cases in Macau SAR (1115 discharges, 13 deaths), and 8588414 cases in Taiwan (13742 discharges, 14913 deaths).
